Patzcuaro was an obligatory stop and one of the people that made it possible was Francisco-Antonio de Iturbide y Heriz, a ranch owner, spanish trader and the original owner of the impressive Mansion Iturbide.

To tell the stories of the Nao Route, Mansion Iturbide opens its doors and corners so you can listen how this route shape the current commerce in all of Mexico. You will also know the way old chinese design influenced the crafts from Michoacan.
